The A12 was closed for more than hour last night after two cars were involved in an accident.
The crash, between a white Vauxhall van and a red Toyota Auris, happened on the A12 at Foxhall at just after 5.45pm leaving the northbound carriageway blocked.
A woman was treated at the scene of the accident by ambulance crews for what were believed to be minor injuries.
The Highways Agency were also called to the scene to clean up an oil spill.
