EMERGENCY crews are currently at the scene of a road accident involving a cement lorry at Copdock.
Police and ambulance were called to the Colchester-bound carriageway of the A12 at 10am where the cement lorry had collided with another vehicle, believed to be a Rover.
The lorry has been badly damaged and there has been a diesel spillage, but it is not though anyone has been seriously injured.
It is believed the Rover crashed into the central reservation.
The road has been blocked and police said diversions will be set up as traffic is building up.
