A broken-down vehicle on the A12 approaching Ipswich has been cleared.
Suffolk police received reports of an broken-down vehicle a mile south of the Copdock interchange at about 8.20am.
The vehicle was in the outside lane of the northbound carriageway when it happened.
Soon after, a spokesman for Suffolk police said officers were attending to arrange recovery of the vehicle.
The spokesman was unaware of any serious disruption caused by the broken-down vehicle but advised motorists to be aware of possible delays.
Police have since confirmed that the car has been cleared and any delays have been resolved.
It comes amid further transport disruption caused by over-running engineering works on the railway line between Colchester and Ipswich.
Greater Anglia said disruption from that incident was expected to last until 9.30am.
