The road was closed for four hours while emergency workers cleared the wreckage.
Two injured people were taken to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston but their conditions were not believed to be life-threatening last night.
However, a police spokesman said a man had been declared at the scene. No details of his age or his identity will be released until his next of kin have been informed, he added.
