Delays have been reported on the A12 near Martlesham Picture: ARCHANT
Drivers are facing long delays on the A12 at Martlesham this morning after a JCB broke down near the BT Tower.
Police are currently at the scene and have put a rolling road block in place.
Traffic travelling northbound towards Woodbridge is affected, a police spokesman said, and the vehicle has broken down in the left hand lane.
The incident occurred around 200m from the Bucklesham roundabout, the spokesman added.
According to officers, the vehicle broke down at approximately 11.20am.
Delays are building and it is not clear yet when the rolling road block will clear.
