TRAFFIC is flowing freely along the A14 again after emergency services cleared eight cars from the road after a multi-vehicle pile-up.

Nine people reported suffering minor injuries in the collision, which happened on the westbound carriageway at Higham just after 7.15am.

After a clean-up operation lasting nearly three hours, police reopened both lanes at about 10am.
