The A14 was closed for more than an hour today as police cleared stones and gravel from the dual carriageway after a lorry shed its load.
Police were called to the westbound carriageway of the trunk road at 12.47pm, closing it at around 1pm.
The load had shed on to both sides of the dual carriageway, according to a Suffolk police spokeswoman.
Motorists were diverted off the A14 at junction 53 for White House, before returning onto the road at junction 52 for Claydon.
The road reopened at about 2.15pm.
