TWO "walking wounded" were taken to hospital after a collision between two lorries and a car on the eastbound carriageway of the A14.
The accident happened at 4.40pm yesterday at Risby, near Bury St Edmunds. A Suffolk police spokesman said the two people taken to the West Suffolk Hospital, suffering from minor injuries.
First on the scene was an off-duty paramedic who gave medical attention to the injured and called the emergency services.
Rush-hour traffic became congested on the road until the vehicles were removed.
