A14 fatal crash victim named

THE woman killed in a rush-hour accident at Exning on the A14 on Friday morning has been named today as Zita Hughes, 45, of Melbourn, Cambridgeshire.

The accident happened on the eastbound carriageway just before 8.

THE woman killed in a rush-hour accident at Exning on the A14 on Friday morning has been named today as Zita Hughes, 45, of Melbourn, Cambridgeshire.

The accident happened on the eastbound carriageway just before 8.20am and the woman's car was the only vehicle involved. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were delays to traffic for several hours with two of the three lanes blocked while emergency services were in attendance.
