ONE of the busiest roads in the region has been reopened today after being closed for eight hours when a lorry shed its load of gas canisters.The A14 was closed between Junction 36 (Stow cum Quy) and Junction 37 (Exning) after a lorry on the westbound carriageway spilled between 200 and 300 cannisters.

The A14 was closed between Junction 36 (Stow cum Quy) and Junction 37 (Exning) after a lorry on the westbound carriageway spilled between 200 and 300 cannisters.
A diversion was put in place and the road did not reopen until 6.20am today once all the canisters had been cleared from the road.
