A SERIOUS crash closed the A140 today and left three people with serious injuries.
A boy with a suspected broken leg was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and another boy with head injuries and their mother, who was suffering from head and ankle injuries, were both taken to the hospital in an ambulance as a result of the smash at Tivetshall St Mary, near Diss, on the notoriously dangerous road.
The accident, involving a Mercedes van, a red Metro and a silver Peugeot, happened by the Ram pub around 9.25am.
The road was closed until around 3.30pm while Norfolk police carried out investigative work at the scene but it has now been reopened.
