A MAN suspected of attempting to abduct a prostitute has been released on police bail.
The 32-year-old man from Needham Market was stopped on the A140 at Coddenham about 1.50am yesterday.
He was arrested following an earlier incident in Hadleigh Road, Ipswich and was arrested on suspicion of attempted abduction, assault and drink driving.
He has now been released on police bail to return to Ipswich police station on December 28.
Police said the man was not being held in connection with the disappearances of prostitutes Tania Nicol and Gemma Adams.
