POLICE and ambulance crews have been called to reports that as many as six vehicles have been involved in an accident in the Stowmarket area of the A14.
The incident happened at about 11.55am today and saw emergency services called to the scene between the A1120 and the Haughley stretch of the road.
The exact number of vehicles involved - and the extent of any injuries - remains unclear at this stage, but motorists are expected to face delays on the busy duel carriageway.
