EXECUTIVES at Felixstowe port are celebrating after Trinity Terminal - Britain's longest container quay - was named Freight Facility of the Year in the shipping industry's top awards.
Chris Lewis, chief executive officer of Hutchison Ports (UK) Limited, owner of the Port of Felixstowe, said: “We are very proud of Trinity Terminal, and to our dedicated employees for the role they play in keeping the UK economy running smoothly.
“The demand for goods in the UK is increasing at a very steady rate, and it is important that facilities such as Trinity Terminal are able to keep up with the pace.”
