TWO people were freed from vehicles following a crash in west Suffolk.

The accident happened in Hinderclay Road, Redgrave, near Bury St Edmunds, at 9am and involved a green Honda Civic and a white VW van.

Two people were freed from their vehicles and taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury by the East of England Air Ambulance.

A police spokeswoman said neither person had life-threatening injuries. The road was blocked until 10.50am.
