A man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after suffering a cardiac arrest in Felixstowe.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance landed on the beach around 9.30am to attend to the patient, who had collapsed in Convalescent Hill.
Paramedics treated the man, aged in his late 60s, at the scene and managed to get his heart beating again, an ambulance spokesman said.
He was taken by land ambulance to Ipswich Hospital in a critical condition.
Police were called to help clear crowds for the air ambulance to land safely.
