The 71-year-old was taken to the new Norwich and Norfolk Hospital just before 3pm yesterday with possible head and spinal injuries.

It is believed the man may have fallen over at home and could not tell paramedics what had happened.

Air Ambulance crew said he could have fallen off a tractor earlier because one was found with the engine still running outside the house.

The family called a GP and the ambulance.
