Aldi is reopening its Hines Road store in Ipswich this week - after extending the size of its shop floor.
Children from Rose Hill Primary School will join store manager Laurence Kidd at the ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 28.
As a welcome bonus, the store extension has led to the creation of ten new jobs.
Aldi is currently running its ‘Get Set to Eat Fresh’ scheme, encouraging children aged 5-14 to get into cooking and eating healthily.
As part of this Aldi are donating fruit, bottles of water and snacks to Rose Hill Primary School to say thank you for taking part in the grand opening.
Mr Kidd said: “It’s going to be a great morning here at the Hines Road store.
“Our customers rely on us to deliver high quality products at amazing prices, and we’re sure the increased space we have created will make their shopping experience even better.
“At Aldi, we’re passionate about getting involved with the local community, so we can’t wait to hand over our donation to Rose Hill Primary School.”
