Ancaster Road, Ipswich reopens after police and fire crews help woman

Police closed Ancaster Road in Ipswich for almost 90 minutes this morning.

Officers were called to the road near the train station around 7am after concerns for the welfare of a woman.

A Suffolk police spokeswoman said fire crews also attended as the woman had climbed onto scaffolding.

The road reopened around 8.30am after she came down.
