ANOTHER day and another Ipswich shop has signed up to The Evening Star's Fightback campaign.
Fresh from being announced the company's best performing large store over the Christmas period, QD on Carr Street has never been so busy.
But staff still found time to support the Star's good news campaign.
Kay Brown, store manager, said: “Fightback is fantastic. People should be aware it's not all doom and gloom.
“We're really full and people can't stop looking for bargains. Our low prices really help as people look for good quality products priced reasonably.”
The discount retail store has been open for ten years and currently employs 23 people. And Mrs Brown is quick to praise the role of her team in the shop's success.
“The staff have been brilliant and I'm lucky to have a good management team,” she said. “They work hard and are not only enthusiastic but dedicated to their jobs.”
