POLICE have revealed the driver killed in the single-car collision on the A14 at Levington today was a 28-year-old woman.

The other passenger in the blue Fiat Bravo was a three-year-old boy, who is currently receiving treatment at Ipswich hospital for minor injuries including cuts to his head.

Police have also urged the occupants of a red estate car travelling east-bound at the time to contact them. A spokesman for the force said it is believed there were two female passengers in the car, which could have had its hazard lights on.

There was also an appeal for the driver of a dark Volkswagen Golf which was on the westbound carriageway to contact police. It is believed the car may have temporarily stopped after the crash.
