REVELLERS enjoying a night out on the town are set to boost the appeal fund set up in memory of two teenagers killed in a tragic blaze.

Central Park nightclub in Felixstowe has offered to donate all its entrance money from a special event it is staging to the fund for fire victims Will Stokes, 19, and Rob Giles, 18.

The club in Sea Road is holding an Old School St Trinian's Night on November 23 and all the door money will be given to the fund.

Lorraine Moseley, who runs the club with her brother Mark, said: "We just felt it would be a really good cause to support.

"The young men lived in a street just around the corner from the club and many of their age group come in here on Friday and Saturday nights.

"I am sure some of them will probably also have known them, and they will certainly know about the awful fire in which they died."

It will be £2 a head entry fee to the night and it is hoped it will be a well supported event.

The appeal fund has also been further swelled this week thank to donations from Farlingaye High School, where both Will and Rob had been students, and the Ipswich and Norwich Co-operative Society.

The memorial fund has also received contributions from neighbours, friends, fans of the pop/rock band Boot50 in which Rob played, local businesses, The Evening Star and Felixstowe Town Council.

The young men were killed when a fierce blaze engulfed their top-floor flat in Holland Road, Felixstowe.

Although smoke alarms went off and alerted others living in the property, the pair never woke up.

Fire investigators believe the blaze was caused either by a candle or an electrical fault in a TV, but the damage was so bad they will never know the truth.

Rob had taken on the flatlet two weeks before the fire and Will, of Bawdsey, was just staying over for the night when the blaze happened.

Rob was a talented young guitarist and many people felt he had a bright future ahead in the music business with the upcoming band Boot50.

Will was working at the Ramsholt Arms pub at Shottisham to raise cash for travel abroad. He had dreamt of touring Australia and New Zealand and was saving hard for the trip, which he had hoped to undertake later this year.
