Aqua Park Suffolk is edging closer to opening after heavy rain and a lack of sunshine this weekend.
The water attraction shut on Saturday, July 21 when the heatwave caused an outbreak of the algae.
Customers have been offered refunds and vouchers for cancelled parties.
Children have been unable to use the facility this summer holiday so far but lower algae numbers should give families hope of getting back into the water.
Anglian Water and Aqua Park Suffolk have begun placing ultrasonic devices in the water to zap the algae with sound waves which will make it sink and die.
A third device, a larger solar powered version of the units currently being used, is being placed tomorrow.
Anglian Water recommend customers contact Aqua Park directly with questions about their booking.
