Suffolk and Essex are set for a chilly week as arctic air blows across the UK - bringing with it a chance of hail and snow.
The bitterly cold winds are expected to hit the East of England tomorrow, Tuesday November 28, with temperatures expected to reach 6C (42.8F) at their highest.
Although it will be a bright and sunny day, it is likely to become cloudier later in the afternoon with a chance of showers.
Forecasters expect the bitter cold weather to continue through the week, with chilly breezes and widespread frosts overnight.
The coldest day of the week is set to be Thursday, with forecasters saying there could be a chance of snow or hail.
Aidan McGivern, from the Met Office said: “Temperatures everywhere are below average and feeling especially so in the wind.”
