When the 1881 census was taken a couple by the names of Hannah and Cornelius Flory were living at 5 Parliament Road, Ipswich - are you related to them in any way?

Sylvia Millard, of Reading, has written to us asking for help in her search to locate family members. She writes: “Cornelius Flory married Hannah Waldron in 1859 - her parents were John Waldron and Rebecca Burfoot who were married in Wargrave in Berkshire in 1876.”

Hannah, born in 1839, was the eldest of five children and her second youngest brother, James, was Mrs Millard’s great-grandfather.

Mrs Millard continued: “Hannah and Cornelius had 10 children, all but two of them born in Ipswich, so I am hoping some of those had children.

“If there are any of the family still living in Ipswich I would be very grateful for any help they could give in tracing the Waldron and Flory families.”
