ARMED police were tonight involved in a stand-off outside a house in Stowmarket.Officers were called to the house in Thackeray Grove at around 5pm where a man inside was reported to be threatening to harm himself.

Officers were called to the house in Thackeray Grove at around 5pm where a man inside was reported to be threatening to harm himself.
The road was cordoned off while a police negotiator spoke to the man.
