SUFFOLK Police are appealing for witnesses after an armed robbery at the Post Office on the High Street, Cavendish at approximately 11.25am today.Two masked men are reported to have entered the Post Office with what is believed to be a shotgun.
SUFFOLK Police are appealing for witnesses after an armed robbery at the Post Office on the High Street, Cavendish at approximately 11.25am today.
Two masked men are reported to have entered the Post Office with what is believed to be a shotgun.
They were seen to leave the area in a red G registered Ford Escort in the direction of Long Melford.
The car was recovered at 1pm in Pentlow Lane, Cavendish – a short distance away from the post office.
Nobody was hurt in the incident and it is not known what was stolen.
