Man arrested following drug related death
Police have made an arrest following the sudden death of a man from a suspected drug overdose.
A man from Ipswich was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in offering to supply a class A drug. It follows the sudden death of a 40-year-old man at an address in the town on Tuesday.
Police were called by paramedics at about 8.25pm to Turret Lane, where a man had died of a suspected drug overdose.
Officers investigating the death yesterday arrested a 42-year-old man who has since been bailed to return to police on May 7.
A postmortem examination will be carried out in due course, along with full toxicology tests, to determine the cause of the 40-year-old man’s death.
