A SERIES of warrants have been executed in Suffolk and Essex today in a crackdown on baggage thefts at Stansted Airport.
The management of the airport and baggage handling company Swissport have been working in partnership with Essex Police to gather intelligence and identify patterns of thefts from luggage coming through the port.
The joint work has culminated today with the execution of 12 warrants and the arrest of eight men at addresses in Suffolk and Essex.
