Arrests for attempted murder
FIVE men and one woman from Essex have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder or conspiracy to commit murder.All of the arrests have come after two incidents where people were injured as they were in hit by cars in Clacton.

At 9.40am yesterday in Burrs Road, Clacton, a 31-year-old man suffered leg and back injuries when he was hit by a car as he got out of his own vehicle.
His injuries were not described as serious.
A 19-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, both from Clacton, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a 42-year-old man and 40-year-old woman, from Clacton, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
At 1.45am today in Agate Road, in Clacton, two men were injured when a car hit them.

Both men were in their 20s and suffered lower leg injuries that were not thought to be serious.
A 26-year-old man and a 28-year-old man, also from Essex, were arrested for attempted murder.
Both of the incidents are thought to be related.
