Three people have been arrested – and one of them has been charged - after police carried out a warrant at a property in Ipswich and found a quantity of class A drugs.
Officers from the Ipswich-based Scorpion pro-active team carried out the warrant at an address in Fore Street around 5.30pm on Wednesday and discovered a quantity of wraps, believed to be heroin and crack cocaine.
Two men and a woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs and all three were taken into custody where they were interviewed in connection with the find.
A 28-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman, both from Ipswich, have now been bailed to return to police on February 18, 2016.
Garth Street, 53, of Minerva Court, Fore Street, has been charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply and possession of heroin with intent to supply and has been detained to appear before magistrates this morning.
