POLICE have arrested a number of suspects in connection with a robbery which saw a sub-postmaster's son shot dead.

The village of Fairfield in Worcestershire was left shocked last Friday after Craig Hodson-Walker was shot in the chest by masked robbers in the raid at his parent's business.

The 29-year-old's father Ken was also shot in the leg.

Three balaclava-clad raiders wielding a handgun and a sledgehammer made their escape in a silver VW Golf following the attack.

More than 100 police officers have been deployed in the hunt for the killers, and West Mercia confirmed today that arrests have been made.
