Arson attack forces family to flee

POLICE are hunting arsonists who made a family flee their home after an early morning attack on their Ipswich home.Firebugs torched their car parked at the side of their house on the driveway in Wherstead Road, forcing the family to evacuate after flames took hold at the side of the house.

POLICE are hunting arsonists who made a family flee their home after an early morning attack on their Ipswich home.

Firebugs torched their car parked at the side of their house on the driveway in Wherstead Road, forcing the family to evacuate after flames took hold at the side of the house.

The father, who suffers from asthma, was treated at the scene by paramedics for smoke inhalation.

The blaze wrote off the couple's Ford Escort car and shattered the side window of the end terrace.
