Passing motorists stopped to help a woman after the car she was driving came off the road near Ipswich.
The single-vehicle collision involving an Audi happened on the A14 westbound, just before the Shell garage close to the Orwell Bridge, around 12.20pm today.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Constabulary said no-one was believed to have been injured during the crash.
A number of drivers stopped their vehicles to help the woman who was in control of the Audi, the police spokeswoman added.
The car was recovered and the road was clear by 1.30pm.
