Public parks and cemeteries in Ipswich may open late on Tuesday morning due to adverse weather.
Christchurch, Holywells and Alexandra parks, along with the Old, New and Lawn cemeteries, may open later than usual following days of heavy rain, Ipswich Borough Council (IBC) announced.
Parks and cemetery staff will take the decision early in the morning when conditions can be better assessed.
A IBC spokesman said: “Public safety is of the utmost importance. Most open spaces in Ipswich cannot be locked and we urge the public to take extra care in high winds.”
