POLICE are today hunting two men who tried to rob an Ipswich bakery but left empty handed.The incident happened at around 3pm yesterday when the two men went into a bakery in the Stoke Park Drive shopping centre.

The incident happened at around 3pm yesterday when the two men went into a bakery in the Stoke Park Drive shopping centre.

They demanded money from the safe but the two shop assistants refused saying there was no money in it.

The men then demanded the staff hand over their handbags.

Then the two workers beckoned for help from two passersby – then the two intruders ran off.

One is described as being in his late teens, around 5ft 10ins tall with dark hair and wearing a cream/white coloured hooded top and black tracksiut trousers.

The second man was in his late teens, around 5ft 4ins tall with black hooded top and black trousers.
