Balaclava-wearing bikers are being linked to an early morning attempted burglary in Ipswich.

The two masked men were seen on dirt bike, without helmets, shortly after an attempted burglary on a home in Foxhall Road.

An occupant of the address reported seeing the suspect flee on a motorbike after making a failed attempt to break in through a back door.

Police said it happened at about 2.15am on Saturday, July 15.

A spokesman said: “Shortly afterwards, police received a report of two men riding a motorbike in the Rands Way/Nacton Road area.

“The men were described as wearing balaclavas and no helmets. The motorbike is thought to be an off-road type.”
