ORGANISERS of this year's Ipswich and Suffolk Press Ball are today appealing for businesses to dig deep and help raise as much money for the event's chosen charity.

Asking for the county's commerce community to submit raffle and auction prizes, organisers are hoping to raise thousands for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust (CFT).

To be held at the Hotel Elizabeth, Copdock, on Friday, June 19, music, dancing, fine food and wines will be followed by an auction and tombola with prizes donated by a number of businesses and organisations.

Bridget York, creative director of top London event firm Entire Affair, said: “We have some fantastic raffle and auction prizes for this year's Press Ball including a luxury cruise, magnificent jewellery and a pamper day.

“We are also looking for raffle prizes - this could be a meal for two, hairdressing vouchers or anything your company or organisation might be able to offer.”

Evening Star editor Nigel Pickover said: “On behalf of the organisers I would like to thank all Suffolk businesses that are digging deep and pulling together to support the press ball.”

Regularly and strongly supported by the county's business community, the Press Ball is once again sponsored by Ipswich firm Call Connection.

If your business or organisation would like to donate a raffle or auction prize to the prestigious event please contact Bridget York on 07961 430599.
