A VERITABLE musical mix of country, western swing, rhythm and blues and Tex Mex is set to fill Ipswich's Manor Ballroom when Los Pistoleros play next week.

The band offer a balance of fine musicianship, great singing and good humour and promise to make their performance on November 23 a thoroughly enjoyable one.

Bobby Valentino (fiddle and vocals), BJ Cole (pedal steel) and Martin Belmont (guitar) will be joined by a tight rhythm section courtesy of Kevin Foster (bass) and Jim Russell (drums).

Between them the band have played with the likes of Bob Dylan, Mark Knopfler, Sting, Richard Ashcroft, Johnny Cash and Elvis Costello.

Their performance at the Manor Ballroom, however, presented by Peppery Productions, sees the band doing what they do best – being one of the finest bar bands in the country.

Tickets cost £10 and £18 and are available from the New Wolsey Theatre Box Office, by calling 01473 295900 or by e-mailing tickets@wolseytheatre.co.uk
