FOUR bank workers were locked inside a branch in Essex following a suspected robbery today. Police were called to the Nat West branch in Market Place, Saffron Walden, after panic alarms in the bank were activated.
FOUR bank workers were locked inside a branch in Essex following a suspected robbery today.
Police were called to the Nat West branch in Market Place, Saffron Walden, after panic alarms in the bank were activated.
The robbery is thought to have happened between 7am and 9am today.
Officers found the staff members locked inside the branch.
They have been taken to a police station to give statements.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 0300 333 4444.
