Actor Morgan Freeman is critically ill in hospital after a car crash, it emerged tonight.
BATMAN star Morgan Freeman is critically ill in hospital after a car crash.
The Dark Knight actor, 71, was taken to the Regional Medical Centre in Memphis, Tennessee, after a serious accident this morning.
Freeman, who won an Oscar in 2005 for best performance by an actor in a supporting role for Million Dollar Baby, lives with his wife, Myrna, near Charleston, Mississippi, on a 126-acre ranch with a main house, peach trees and horse stables.
