EXCITED Rainbows and Brownies are off to London to visit Buckingham Palace.

The trip is being made by 14 girls from the 37th Ipswich Brownies & 1st Thurleston Rainbows tomorrow.

The youngsters are going to Buckingham Palace to present Jubilee posters they made to a member of the Queen's staff in the palace grounds.

Six Rainbows' and eight Brownies' names were pulled out of a hat, to be chosen for the occasion.

Rainbows Lucy Williamson and her friend Ella Flack, both aged six from Norwich Road, are two of the lucky girls going on the trip.

Lucy's mum Sue, of Norwich Road, said: "They will be at Buckingham Palace late morning and plan to take a sightseeing trip during the afternoon before returning home.

"Lucy is very excited to have been chosen for this trip and showed great interest in the Jubilee celebrations knowing that this trip was coming up."
