ONE of the largest employers in Ipswich, Crane Limited, has today announced that it has sold its 43 acre site at Nacton Road.The manufacturing firm, which is the town's second largest business, has sold the site to a company within the Allied Property and Leisure Group.
ONE of the largest employers in Ipswich, Crane Limited, has today announced that it has sold its 43 acre site at Nacton Road.
The manufacturing firm, which is the town's second largest business, has sold the site to a company within the Allied Property and Leisure Group. The firm intend to apply for planning permission for a mixed use development on this site.
As part of the sale and purchase agreement, Crane will lease part of the property for up to two years to allow its ongoing manufacturing and head office activities to be transferred to new premises.
