The accident, between a Citroen car and Honda motorbike, happened just before 5.30pm on Monday near Tesco supermarket on Anson Road, Martlesham Heath, Ipswich.
Elsewhere a motorist had a lucky escape when they emerged unhurt after ploughing their vehicle into a ditch.
The accident happened on the A137 Wherstead road, near Jimmy's Farm, just outside of Ipswich, around 3.30pm.
