A BIKER is seriously injured in hospital today following a crash on the A12.
The 30-year-old male rider came off his Triumph motorbike at Capel St Mary.
The incident happened at around 10.40am, blocking the northbound carriageway of the road for two hours.
A passing nurse was the first on the scene and was soon followed by paramedics who took the injured biker to Ipswich Hospital.
A police spokeswoman said his injuries were “potentially life changing.”
It is believed no other vehicle was involved in the incident but police would still like to hear from anyone who saw what happened on 01473 613 500.
