MOTORCYCLE fans from all over East Anglia will be revving up for a big day in celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Copdock Classic Motor Show.

The show is taking place on Sunday at the Copdock Village Hall and playing fields. There is plenty on offer to keep the whole family amused with mini bikes to ride and lots of trade stalls. There will also be an auto jumble where enthusiasts can buy new and second hand parts for their machines.

Road-racing machines, speedway bikes and trail bikes will stand next to vintage models making a day not to miss for motorcycle enthusiasts.

Last year more than more than 8,000 people came to the show and this year it is hoped it will reach 9,000.

John Jones is publicity officer for the show. He said: "This is a really great family day out and there is plenty for the children to do from bouncy castles to a mini train.

"We have raised more than £40,000 over the years for different charities and hope to up that total on Sunday. Our special guest will be Dave Bickers who is well known through out the area as an international scramble rider. He is retired now and runs a bike shop in town. He will be giving out the awards at about 3pm."

The show will be making donations to the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service and to the East Anglian Children's Hospitals.

There will also be live music from The Zephyr's, a Suffolk band, and plenty of real ale and food on offer. Entrance costs £2.50 but children get in free.
