A dustcart driver died this morning after his lorry careered off a village road and ploughed into a tree.The man was declared dead at the scene of the accident, which happened shortly after midday on the Mildenhall Road at Icklingham.
A dustcart driver died this morning after his lorry careered off a village road and ploughed into a tree.
The man was declared dead at the scene of the accident, which happened shortly after midday on the Mildenhall Road at Icklingham.
Diversions are in place on the A1101 at the Fiveways junction with the A11 and the A1101 junction with the B1112.
The driver was working for Forest Heath District Countil at the time of the accident.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident and police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on 01284 774100.
