CHICAGOS in Ipswich is the place, June 15, 2002 is the date and all former pupils of Northgate from 1973 to 1980 are invited.

The latest reunion of this Ipswich school is likely to consist of a great many "old" pals who are celebrating their 40th birthdays this year and organisers Anita Bond (nee Moloney) and Lynne Lucas (nee Dunnett) think that is a good enough excuse for a knees-up.

Lynne, said: "We have booked a room in Chicagos and have organised a buffet so we hope there will be lots of us oldies there."

To make sure that they calculate the numbers accurately for the buffet the pair ask for all interested ex-pupils to get in touch with them.

There will be a charge of £4.95 each to cover the cost of the buffet.

So if you would like to be one of those sharing memories of your old Northgate school days, telephone Anita on 01473 736499 or Lynne on 01473 602155.
