FIRE crews were called to tackle a blaze at a homeless family unit in Ipswich today.Two crews from Princes Street and two from the Colchester Road fire station attended the property in London Road at about 12.35am.
FIRE crews were called to tackle a blaze at a homeless family unit in Ipswich today.
Two crews from Princes Street and two from the Colchester Road fire station attended the property in London Road at about 12.35am where they found a blaze in the basement.
One man was taken to Ipswich Hospital, suffering from smoke inhalation.
The fire was put out, and the incident was cleared within 20 minutes.
