FIREFIGHTERS have been called to a blaze in an Ipswich property, which initially raised fears there were people trapped inside.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to the two-storey semi-detached building in Anglesea Road at the junction of Warrington Road just before 5.30pm.
It was reported there were possibly people trapped in the building.
The firefighters located the blaze in the front bedroom of the property and just after 5.40pm had rescued a dog from the property.
A few minutes later they had accounted for everyone who had been in the property.
A spokesman for the fire service said an investigation would be carried out into the cause of the fire.
